2020 will go down as unprecedented and life-altering for most people. In this unusual year, the few who rose to the top in a remarkable and often courageous manner deserves to be recognized.

Join us on Thursday, January 28, 2021 as we honor volunteers, students, and high achievers. Mark your calendars and begin notifying your board, members and volunteers. It’s time to celebrate! Each year the Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce sponsors this event to give special recognition to members of our community who serve Issaquah with distinction and it is our honor to host this as devoted volunteers are recognized. A Zoom link will be sent out prior for the public to attend.

Each year The Kiwanis Club of Issaquah sponsors two community awards.

Volunteer of the Year Award

Purpose: To honor a person or organization that has significantly enhanced the human and spiritual values of the Greater Issaquah area
Criteria:

Made a contribution of a dutiful nature
Promotes morality, fraternity, and mutual understanding
Provides comfort and reassurance in times of stress, turmoil, and personal loss

Spiritual Values Award

Purpose: To honor a person or organization, which has significantly enhanced the human and spiritual values of the greater Issaquah area
Criteria:

Made a contribution of a broadly religious nature
Promotes morality, fraternity, and mutual understanding
Provides comfort and reassurance in times of stress, turmoil, and personal loss
